What we believe
We are a Christian faith-based organisation. Our faith is the reason we serve, and it shapes how we treat everyone we meet.
We demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through worship, pastoral care and practical service, particularly among people affected by poverty, homelessness, imprisonment, addiction, unemployment, family breakdown, isolation and social exclusion.
Our convictions
- Every person is made in God's image and carries dignity and potential.
- No one is beyond hope. Forgiveness, healing and restoration are real.
- Faith is shown in action: feeding, visiting, welcoming and standing alongside.
- Lasting change begins with the renewal of the mind.
In summary
- We believe in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe the Bible is God's word and the guide for faith and life.
- We believe Jesus Christ died and rose again so that people can be forgiven and made new.
- We believe the church is a family, and that it is called to serve those in need.

Faith and the help we give
Our Christian beliefs inform our mission, but access to practical support is never conditional on taking part in worship or religious activities. We respect every person's beliefs, conscience and dignity.
Love, compassion, forgiveness, humility, integrity, service, restoration and hope.
Worship with The Light Chapel
Our church family meets twice a week for worship, prayer and Bible teaching. Come as you are.
